Should you let that comment slide or address it head on? The only way to avoid microaggressions is to arm yourself with knowledge about microaggressions. In this workshop, we cover lots of examples of things that people think are acceptable to say at work – but are actually racist, sexist, ageist or offensive – and put strategies in place to avoid them. Parental Leave Conversations for Line Managers

These workshops provide a framework and tools for ensuring effective conversations between managers and team members commencing and returning from parental or adoption leave. We also discuss the conversations with other team members to ensure they also fully support team members on parental leave. You will be provided with a framework for initiating and continuing conversations with people who are commencing parental leave. You will also understand the importance of language – what to say and what not to and appreciate that each person and their preferred communication will be different.

Developing Leading Women

Our flagship 3-month programme is comprised of 3 half day sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, with 30 minute individual coaching between sessions to ensure learning’s are applied and individual goals are met. It has been designed based on latest thinking on how women rise in organisations and the support they need. Our trainer has extensive leadership experience in senior financial services roles and has attended many women’s leadership trainings over her career. She has taken the elements of these which most resonated and positively impacted her career and condensed these into a short and effective leadership programme. These sessions are very interactive and involve group coaching in addition to the individual sessions.

Emotional Intelligence for Leaders

This workshop is an interactive, one day programme aimed at organisational leaders. Alternating between group activities and individual reflective exercises, this engaging workshop encourages leaders to focus on their leadership strengths and areas they can develop further. Leveraging results from leaders’ EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Reports, participants will learn the importance of emotional intelligence in effective leadership and leave with a better understanding of their strengths and areas to develop to enhance their leadership skills, as well as an action plan on how to increase their own personal effectiveness. We can also take the key themes for the group and make a plan to both build on the strengths of the group and address areas for development.
